We will commence our Flu and C19 autumn programme at the Practice on Saturday 5th October 2024. Appointments are now available for booking. We will be inviting our eligible patients with a link to book in.
JCVI advises the following groups should be offered a COVID-19 vaccine this autumn:
- adults aged 65 years and over
- residents in a care home for older adults
- individuals aged 6 months to 64 years in a clinical risk group (as defined in tables 3 or 4 in the COVID-19 chapter of the Green Book). Pregnant women are included in the clinical risk group.
JCVI does not advise an offer of COVID-19 vaccination this autumn for unpaid carers and household contacts of people with immunosuppression.
This information can help you understand the vaccines offered in the UK and when to have them. It also explains how they work and why they’re safe and important. If you have any questions or concerns regarding vaccinations, please contact us.
(Please ensure you book your travel vaccinations at least 6 to 8 weeks prior to departure for your holiday destination, if unable to do so you may have to attend a private vaccination clinic).
The practice will usually provide vaccination clinics at the appropriate times.
